Wood & Materials:

For both tables. Top center is fiddle back sycamore, ebony inlay, and cherry as the boarder. Legs are cherry with maple inlay and inlay banding. The apron is cherry with cherry beading.

Unusual Techniques & Hardware:

The table tops are just over one inch thick to give it a heavier look that flows well with the whole design. My goal in the design were tables that command a presence but do not over power the room. I accomplished this with the thicker top, legs, and apron with beading. The inlay provides the additional touch of elegance and contrast.
