Joinery:

Mortise and tenon joinery and floating panels.

Wood & Materials:

The major wood is cherry dyed and stained with Madrona burl for the front panels. The front panels are framed with solid ebony.

Unusual Techniques & Hardware:

The legs (balls) are ebonized maple. To achieve the desired design we put fluting on the side of the armoire. This piece is really two - like a high boy - which I took the initial idea from.
