The top is Tiger Maple, with the legs and apron are steamed Cherry with Maple inlay.

Unusual Techniques & Hardware:

The apron is laminated to form the continuous curve that parallels the top. The legs are tapered with inlay. The top is attached to the front legs, and floats to allow for seasonal movements as temperature and humidity affects the wood dimensions.
