Mortise and tenon joinery for the table's legs

Wood & Materials:

Center of the table is Birdseye Maple framed with Western Quilted Maple. The legs are Padouk, and the inlay is Padouk. The apron is Western Quilted Maple, and Walnut for the oval spacers.

Unusual Techniques & Hardware:

I was influenced by Asian design on this table. There are oval spacers that make the table top float above the table. The curve apron breaks up the straight repetitive lines of the legs and top. The Birdseye maple is image matched so as you walk around the table the triangles will alternate between dark and light as the light reflects off the surface. I have a thin strip of inlay 1/16 between the triangles and wider strip 1/4 as the parameter.
