Description

This cabinet was designed to support a HDTV and contain the A/V components below. The back has two 1 ½ inch slots at the top and bottom to allow for air movement for cooling. The two internal shelves are offset 1 ½ inches from the back forward by providing a gap to increase air flow.

  Woods

There are three species of wood to make the piece. Makore, Nara, and Satinwood are used for the 630 lozenges on the top and each door contains 125 lozenges. Makore is use for the legs, frame and door. Satinwood is used for the inlay along with a thin strip of black dyed wood. The illusion of a 3D square is caused by the different woods used and each one’s wood grain is flowing in the same
