The top is made from a slab of Sapele 2" thick with a live edge.  The live edge is the sap wood and sometimes includes the bark of the tree.  

I wanted a asymmetrical base to complement the live edge.  Notice each leg is different portions to the other but they are based upon the top's thickness.  Also the top overhang is not evenly portioned.
